This short video will introduce Exercise 9 Outline Specifications and walk you through a step by step process for setting a basic outline and developing a set of sections related to the wall section developed in studio.

This lesson will introduce you to Exercise 9 which asks you to develop a basic outline specification for your studio project and to further develop this outline through inclusion of Specification Sections related to your wall section developed for our recent Cross Check.
In coordination with your Wall Section drawings, you will be asked to further expand on your outline with a few Spec Sections related to your façade system design. This will give you valuable experience in developing the three Parts of a Spec Section and expose you to their real power in communicating both design intentions and ethical practices of construction.
