Airtightness + Moisture Control

Increased air tightness reduces the energy demand for heating and dehumidification. The importance of providing an air tight building will be explained in this lesson. Strategies how to increase the air tightness (how to reduce the air infiltration) is explained. Moisture control is one of the most important aspects in new buildings. Requirements for more insulation in the building envelope increases the risk of moisture problems in the construction. Strategies how to avoid moisture problems will be introduced in this lesson.
